About Poveku

Poveku offers free calculators and public data for Indonesia, usable without an account. The main site is in Bahasa Indonesia; this English section covers the Indonesian pay, tax and daily data topics most useful to readers outside Indonesia or new to it.

Who runs the site

Poveku is run by PuluhLabs, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Commercial work, such as custom calculators and web systems, is offered separately by the PuluhLabs digital agency at puluhlabs.com and is always labelled as promotion on this site.

How the calculators are built

Each calculator runs in your browser. Its formulas are written once, tested automatically against worked examples every time the site is built, and embedded unchanged in both the Indonesian and the English page, so both give the same numbers. Every calculator names the regulation it follows and the date its defaults were last reviewed, and says that it has not been reviewed by an independent professional.

Where the data comes from

Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank's reference rates (via Frankfurter), the gold price from gold-api.com, earthquakes from BMKG, and public holidays from Google's Indonesian holiday calendar cross-checked with a community dataset. Each page shows when its data was last checked.

Use of AI

The English pages were drafted with the help of AI and checked against the same formulas, regulations and data as the Indonesian pages. Corrections are welcome.

Reporting a mistake

Write to support@poveku.com with the page address and the numbers you entered. Confirmed errors are fixed and listed in the correction log on the Indonesian site.
